15 Jan A Look Back at 2015 | Seattle Wedding, Family, and Lifestyle Photography
2015 was definitely the year of babies and families. This doesn’t mean that I didn’t have wonderful wedding and engagement clients. Of course I did, and I made sure to give them plenty of love and blog time throughout the year. However, my family clientele quadrupled, leaving me just barely enough time to process all the images, let alone time to create blog posts or share their images or shout my many thanks from the rooftops. This blog post is my better-late-than-never-remedy. So first of all, THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! for such an outstanding year. I’m blown away by the endless support and countless times my name has been passed along. You keep me growing, business-wise, artistically, and even around the waistline from all the late night snacking during those massive editing sessions. Ha! Secondly, this was, hands down, the hardest collection to create due to the sheer volume of work. It’s mostly family oriented but I couldn’t leave out a few frames from my weddings and engagement sessions. I wish I could have included everyone but what remains is still a GIANT post so you can imagine what it looked like before I made some very hard cuts–I get so attached to all of you that it became a real “Sophie’s choice” situation. I had to call in the big guns (otherwise known as my husband, Zak) to be more objective. Thank you again for an incredible year! Without further ado, here’s my 2015 in a giant nutshell (“Help! I’m in a nutshell!”).
