Big Girl Teeth | Seattle Family Photographer

20 Jul Big Girl Teeth | Seattle Family Photographer

When I first arrived at this adorable family’s house, this little girl was not a fan of me, at all. Her eyes would follow my every move. She was curious, for sure, but mostly she was letting me know that she was in charge and there was no way she was going to smile if I was the one asking/dancing/singing :). Luckily, I had grandma there to help. With all the chaos of grandma calling her name, toys whizzing and squeaking, me singing, and mom and dad tickling her belly, kissing her cheeks, and cuddling her like crazy, I was worried she was going to crack for good, and we would be photographing crocodile tears all session long. For some reason, though (and I’m still not sure which part of the chaos worked), she cracked a big smile and showed off her new little chompers…phew! I won’t say that when I left this session, we were buddies, but I will say she was a trooper and everyone involved deserves some major kudos and a stiff drink. With a little teamwork, I was able to capture their adorableness in all its glory, including the dog–seriously? Do they get any cuter? Happy scrolling!
