After years behind the camera and the birth of her daughter, this lovely mom/photographer contacted me to document her family so she could actually be in some of their photos. We hung out in their beautiful light-filled home, which had been redesigned and remodeled by her husband (how cool!), and eventually made our way to a nearby park to meet up with grandparents and great-grandma. It’s amazing, and fairly rare, to be able to capture four generations of a family in one photograph. I felt honored, welcomed, and had a wonderful time meeting everyone. After our chilly park outing, we ended up back at their home to warm up with some hot chocolate. It was a very laid back day giving a sense of calm and ease to the photographs.
