Hama Hama Rama | Seattle Photographer

03 May Hama Hama Rama | Seattle Photographer

I’ve been needing to shoot a personal project lately. Something just for me. No deadline. And only one rule: I could only use my 50mm. With the rules set, the car packed, and the dog drooling with excitement, my amazing fiance (he handles my camera constantly in his face with serious grace–I’m a lucky girl!) and I headed out to Hama Hama Oyster Farm in Lilliwaup, WA  on the Hood Canal. If you haven’t been, it’s a great escape that I would highly recommend. If you haven’t had their oysters, you are missing out! Not to fret though, you can visit their website to find out how to get your hands on these tasty bivalves. After a quick ferry ride, some play time with the pup, and a visit with the horses, we headed to the festivities, and took part in the usual revelry: eating, drinking (maybe a bit too much, ok, a lot too much) and cuddling with cute, furry creatures (and their pets). To top it all of, what party wouldn’t be complete without crazy talented artists singing around the campfire? We woke up the next morning to rain, caffeinated-up, and slowly made our way back home. Enjoy!

Love the photos…making me smile and laugh. Can’t wait to see you both….only 50 days or so, right?
