21 Apr The Great Wheel | Seattle Family Portrait Session

This session had it all–some pouting, a few tantrums, a ton of smiles, t-shirt ninjas (no need to purchase a costume!), a big bag of jelly beans, and a surprise trip in the Great Wheel! Ironically, what we thought would be the best reward for suffering through a photo session, the news of the Great Wheel wasn’t as welcomed as we imagined…at first. They asked what would happen if it fell into the ocean (?!) or if we got stuck at the top, and the youngest insisted he wasn’t going. Then, we arrived at the base of this giant wheel and the excitement we had been looking for finally came. There were excited jumps, nervous eyes, more questions about the wheel’s certain collapse, and ultimately huge smiles while they climbed aboard. As the ride came to an end, we were very much alive, the wheel was still standing and the boys had to be dragged away :). It was a successful journey and I’m so grateful to have been included.
