22 Dec Tim + Jen | Downtown Seattle Wedding

I met these two over a year ago when they asked me to take engagement photos of them with their new puppy (which he proposed with–serious points for him!). I was thrilled once they set a date and gave me the opportunity to work with them again. Due to venues being booked and their crazy schedules, they ended up with a December date. Now, anyone knows getting married in Seattle is a roll of the dice weather-wise nearly year round, but in December you are pretty much guaranteed a rainy, gloomy day that gets dark by 4pm. As you will see, the weather gods laughed at all of my rain preparedness and gave this couple one of the most beautiful days to run around downtown Seattle for photos. I attribute this luck to the good karma of the bride, groom and all the wonderful people they have in their lives. Everyone really came together to make the bride’s vision a reality and were so sweet and grateful, even when I asked them to stand outside for photos in December (thank you bridesmaids!) 🙂 It was an elegant and classic affair with just a hint of the holidays to add a little sparkle. I’m grateful I was able to be a small part of their day and feel so lucky to have had the crazy talented, Lindsay Borden photographing by my side. We loved capturing every minute of this day.
